What happened
A flight departing from Curitiba Airport at 10:00 local time was traveling toward Lages with an expected arrival time of 11:30. Approximately halfway through the journey, the twin engine aircraft disappeared from radar and crashed in a mountainous area situated near Rio do Sul.
Search teams located the wreckage several hours after the incident. The crash resulted in seven fatalities, as all individuals on board were killed upon impact. The specific circumstances surrounding the descent and impact remain under investigation.
