What happened
During a local training operation at Semarang-Ahmad Yani Airport, a twin engine aircraft experienced a fatal accident. While the crew was performing the final approach phase of the flight, the aircraft went down in a pond situated approximately 500 metres before the threshold of runway 13. The impact occurred under unknown circumstances. The accident resulted in two fatalities, as both the pilot and the co-pilot were killed in the crash.
