What happened

Following takeoff from runway 23 at the Hermosillo-General Ignacio Pesqueira Garcia Airport, the twin engine aircraft initiated a minor right-hand turn. During this maneuver, the plane struggled to maintain sufficient altitude. The aircraft subsequently collided with power lines and descended into a field situated approximately 7 km west of the airfield. Upon impact, the wreckage caught fire.

At the time of the accident, there were seven people on board. The crash resulted in four fatalities, which included the pilot, and three serious injuries. While three passengers initially survived the impact, the number of fatalities rose several hours later when two of the survivors succumbed to their injuries, leaving only one person alive from the original group.
