Incident Details
A positioning flight was being conducted to Toluca Airport when the accident occurred. The approach and landing were performed at night on runway 15. The crew initiated the braking procedure after touchdown.
Sequence of Events
As the aircraft touched down on runway 15, it began to deviate to the left. The crew applied full braking in an attempt to correct the trajectory, but the aircraft continued to veer off the runway surface. Upon leaving the paved area, the nose landing gear contacted soft ground and collapsed. The aircraft continued traveling until it came to a stop approximately 2,700 meters from the threshold of runway 15.
Outcome
Both pilots were able to exit the aircraft without injury. The aircraft itself suffered damage that was assessed as beyond economic repair. No other injuries or damage to property were reported.
