Incident Overview
An aircraft traveling from Humaitá to Manaus suffered a simultaneous failure of both engines while en route. The flight crew decided to perform an emergency landing, but the airplane subsequently crashed in a wooded, jungle area located approximately 80 kilometers northeast of Humaitá.
Casualties and Injuries
According to official reports, one passenger and one crew member were killed in the accident. Additionally, eight other occupants sustained injuries.
Probable Cause
The investigation determined that the double engine failure was apparently caused by a faulty fuel supply system.
