What happened
The incident occurred while the pilot was conducting a local training sortie departing from Linköping Airport. During the maneuvering phase at a low altitude, the single-engine aircraft lost control or deviated from its intended path. The airframe subsequently collided with a pine tree in the area of Malmslätt, located approximately one kilometer north of the airfield perimeter. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft. The pilot sustained injuries as a result of the crash but survived the accident.
