What happened
During a period of marginal weather conditions, an aircraft was maintaining an altitude of 9,000 feet while in the cruise phase of flight. The plane subsequently collided with a mountain situated in the vicinity of the Lowari Pass.
The impact resulted in a high number of casualties among those on board. Of the total occupants, 22 fatalities were recorded, while four passengers sustained serious injuries during the accident.
