What happened
During the descent toward Curitiba-Afonso Pena Airport, the flight crew encountered unexpected technical issues with the aircraft. Due to these complications, the decision was made to divert from the intended destination to perform an emergency landing. The crew targeted an open area located in Campo Largo, situated approximately 40 km west of the Curitiba airport.
Upon touchdown in the field, the aircraft sustained significant damage, rendering it a total loss. Despite the impact and the destruction of the plane, all 20 occupants were able to exit the wreckage safely. There were no injuries reported among the passengers or crew following the incident.
