Air Baltic agrees interim financing of up to €257 million
Latvian carrier Air Baltic has reached agreement with existing bondholders and other lenders on interim financing of up to €257 million to strengthen liquidity and fund its new business plan.

Air Baltic has agreed interim financing of up to €257 million with existing bondholders and other lenders. The Latvian airline said the funds will strengthen its liquidity and support implementation of its new business plan.
Subject to bondholder approval, €180 million will be available initially, with a further €77 million upon meeting additional conditions. A vote is set for 11 September, and shareholder consent is also required.
The financing is via new bonds maturing on 26 February 2027. No financial participation by the Latvian state is required.
