Air Canada Adds Five New International Destinations for 2027

Air Canada plans to grow its international network in summer 2027 with five new destinations across Europe and Asia. The carrier said Thursday it will connect Vancouver with Guangzhou, China; Toronto with Oslo, Norway, and Shannon, Ireland; and Montreal with Basel, Switzerland, and Dubrovnik, Croatia. Guangzhou, Oslo, Shannon, Basel and Dubrovnik are new to the airline’s network.

Toronto will also gain service to Nice, France. Air Canada will resume its Toronto–London “Day-tripper” service and expand existing connections to China, Spain and Latin America. Toronto–Shanghai service will increase to daily, and the upcoming Toronto–Guatemala City route will become year-round.

“Summer 2027 marks the most extensive intercontinental expansion in Air Canada’s history,” said Mark Galardo, executive vice president and chief commercial officer. The airline said the new routes support commerce and tourism.
