Air Center Helicopters extends H225 lease deal with Milestone

Milestone Aviation has extended leases on 11 Airbus H225 helicopters operated by Air Center Helicopters, running from May 2027 to June 2033. The Texas-based operator flies the heavy-twins for government and mission-critical work.

Milestone Aviation has agreed a long-term lease extension on 11 Airbus Helicopters H225s operated by Air Center Helicopters. The extension starts in May 2027 and runs six years, through June 2033.

Air Center, headquartered in Texas, is described as the largest H225 operator in the Americas. It flies the heavy-twins on government, utility and mission-critical operations in the USA and worldwide. Beyond the leased aircraft, its fleet holds 12 more H225s, all former oil-and-gas helicopters withdrawn from that market after a fatal 2016 crash.

Earlier this year the operator won an $82.8 million US Navy contract for ship-to-ship cargo transfer services, running until 2032. Milestone chief commercial officer Sebastien Moulin said the company was pleased to strengthen its long-standing relationship with Air Center through the transaction.
