Air India Express has introduced new uniforms effective September 1 for cabin crew and customer-facing staff, incorporating traditional Indian textiles and art forms.

Air India Express rolled out new uniforms on September 1 for cabin crew and other customer-facing staff, including airport services, security and flight operations. The designs draw on traditional Indian textiles and art forms from different parts of the country. The airline's designer Pooja Krishnan led the work, while the male cabin crew uniform was created in collaboration with Trent Limited. The airline's blue and orange colours are the base palette. The uniforms are made from banana crepe fabric.
