Brunei government Boeing 787 makes fuel stop at Cologne/Bonn

A Boeing 787-8 registered V8-OAS landed at Cologne/Bonn Airport on Tuesday for a refuelling stop, according to an aviation news report. The aircraft belongs to the fleet used by the Sultan of Brunei and arrived from Washington Dulles.

The Dreamliner touched down in the morning and stayed at the German airport for about an hour and a half before leaving for Brunei. The trip followed a visit to the United States by Brunei's foreign minister, Prince Abdul Mateen, a son of the Sultan. He took part in the general debate at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, then travelled to Washington, where his engagements included a meeting with representatives of the CIA.

Brunei's government fleet also has a Boeing 747-8 registered V8-BKH and a Boeing 767-200 registered V8-MHB. The 767-200 is due to leave the fleet and is currently in Hamburg.
