Bulgaria Air adds extra flights for Eurovision Song Contest 2027
Bulgaria Air will increase capacity between Sofia and Burgas around the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, adding extra daily flights before and after the event.

Bulgaria Air will add flights between Sofia and Burgas to coincide with the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, which is being held in the Black Sea city.
Between 2 and 19 May 2027, the carrier plans to run up to two flights a day on the route. That's on top of its usual evening service. In the days before the contest, the airline will add afternoon flights, and after the final it has scheduled extra morning departures from Burgas to Sofia, likely to help attendees travel onward.
The airline said the timings are meant to let passengers connect with international flights through Sofia.
The added capacity will be flown using Airbus A220 aircraft, fitted out with economy and business class cabins.
Booking for the extra flights opened on 25 August 2026, well ahead of the event itself.
