Emirates Unveils New Premium Economy Seat with Privacy Partition
Emirates presented its next-generation premium economy seat, featuring electrically adjustable reclining, a deployable privacy partition, and enhanced technology.

Emirates has shown a new premium economy seat, four years after the cabin class first appeared. It has electrically adjustable seats, a privacy partition that can be raised, and other technology meant to bring the class closer to business.
The airline says this is the world's first electrically adjustable premium economy seat with a partition. At the push of a button the partition goes to full seat height and locks, which Emirates says offers a level of privacy once reserved for business class.
A remote controls the seat electrically, with presets for lounge and dining modes. The U-Dream headrests come from Safran Seats and have multi-adjustable side wings that the airline says improve comfort.
Wireless device charging is included, along with USB-C ports and a tray table with a phone holder. Emirates is still fitting its Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 fleets with the existing premium economy product.
