Etihad chief revenue and commercial officer Arik De leaves carrier
Arik De has left Etihad after five years, with the airline naming an interim replacement while it searches for a permanent successor.

Etihad's chief revenue and commercial officer, Arik De, has left the Abu Dhabi-based carrier after five years. The airline confirmed the departure, which De announced in a LinkedIn post. No reason was given.
Wei Jin, currently senior vice-president of revenue management, will take on the role on an interim basis while Etihad searches for a permanent successor, according to the airline.
De joined Etihad in April 2022 as vice-president of revenue and commerce and became chief revenue and commercial officer at the start of 2023. His time there overlapped with an expansion drive aimed at doubling the size of the business. Before Etihad, he was chief revenue and network officer at TAP Air Portugal and held roles at Aeromexico, AirAsia and WestJet.
