Eurowings confirms Premium Biz Seat rollout, retrofit scope undecided
Eurowings says it will still introduce its new business-class seat as announced, with Dubai flights from Berlin to get the product from December 2026, but the number of A320 Neo aircraft to be converted remains under review.

Eurowings will go ahead with its new Premium Biz Seat as announced, the Lufthansa subsidiary said. The business-class product enters service on Dubai flights from Berlin on 1 December 2026.
It is also planned for routes from Düsseldorf and Berlin to Mallorca, from Düsseldorf to Málaga, and from both cities to London Heathrow.
How many aircraft will be retrofitted is still unclear. Eurowings had originally said it would progressively equip its entire A320 Neo subfleet with the new product from November. After dropping Dubai services from Stuttgart and Cologne/Bonn, the airline now says the exact number of aircraft to be converted is being examined.
The Premium Biz Seat involves redesigning the first two rows of the cabin. Instead of the existing 2-3 layout, a 2-2 configuration will be used, cutting the number of seats in this section from 18 to eight.
Eurowings did not give a timetable for a decision on the retrofit scope.
