Gol to increase frequency on Rio de Janeiro–Lisbon route from November 24

Brazilian carrier Gol will add a fifth weekly nonstop flight between Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon, starting November 24. The route, its first between Brazil and Europe, initially launches on September 16 with Airbus A330 aircraft.

Gol Linhas Aereas will increase frequency on its new route between Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon from four to five weekly flights, effective November 24. The additional service will operate on Tuesdays.

The route, the Brazilian airline's first between Brazil and Europe, begins September 16 using Airbus A330 aircraft with about 300 seats. From January 4 to February 7, 2027, flight times will be adjusted for the high season.

Gol offers its Insignia business class with fully flat beds on long-haul flights.
