Gol to launch seasonal São Paulo–El Calafate–Ushuaia service

Gol will open a seasonal route in the coming southern summer linking São Paulo with El Calafate and continuing to Ushuaia. The Brazilian airline said the service will run from 3 November to 27 March 2027, with three weekly departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The outbound leg goes from São Paulo to El Calafate and then on to Ushuaia; the return is nonstop from Ushuaia to São Paulo.

Separately, Gol starts a nonstop Lisbon–Rio de Janeiro service on 16 September.

Codeshare and interline agreements are meant to give European travellers connections to Patagonia, the airline said. International passengers on a stopover can spend 24 hours to three nights in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo at no extra cost, according to the carrier.
