IndiGo secures $328 million financing for eight Airbus jets
IndiGo has arranged $328 million in financing for eight Airbus aircraft, backed by Citigroup and Belgian export credit agency Credendo.

IndiGo has secured financing of $328 million for eight Airbus aircraft, according to Indian media reports. The package covers six A321s and two A320s.
The transaction was arranged by the US bank Citigroup and the Belgian export credit agency Credendo, working with IndiGo and Airbus.
According to those reports, it is the first aircraft financing backed by Credendo worldwide. It is also described as the first aircraft financing supported by an export credit agency through a leasing structure at the Indian financial centre GIFT IFSC.
