LATAM Brasil establishes E195-E2 maintenance bases in three cities

The carrier will perform line and scheduled maintenance for its upcoming Embraer E195-E2 fleet at Curitiba, Brasília, and São Paulo-Guarulhos starting in October, ahead of the type's entry into service in November.

LATAM Brasil is opening maintenance bases for its new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft at Curitiba, Brasília, and São Paulo-Guarulhos airports. The facilities should be operational by October, ahead of the airline's first E195-E2 flights in November.

Curitiba will be the primary site for scheduled maintenance on the type, with expanded and modernized infrastructure. Across the three bases, crews will be able to handle up to 49 planned maintenance events per week. A total of 127 mechanics are being assigned directly to the E195-E2. Preparations have been underway since January, including training, facility modifications, and procurement of specialized tooling.
