Lufthansa Group suspends Riyadh flights through October 16
Lufthansa Group carriers have paused services to Riyadh until at least October 16, citing developments in the Middle East, after a claimed missile attack on King Khalid airport.

Lufthansa Group airlines have suspended flights to Riyadh through October 16 inclusive. The group told the dpa news agency the decision follows current developments in the Middle East.
The suspension came after the Houthi movement claimed responsibility for a new missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia said it intercepted several projectiles. Debris from the intercepted missiles fell onto a terminal building, airport sources said. The Houthis have also renewed a call for airlines to stop flying to Saudi Arabia.
