Lufthansa to resume Frankfurt–Nagoya in summer 2027, add daily Tokyo Narita service

Lufthansa will restart flights from Frankfurt to Nagoya in summer 2027 and launch a daily Frankfurt–Tokyo Narita service, while Swiss expands its Zurich–Narita schedule.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner

Lufthansa will return to Nagoya in summer 2027, resuming Frankfurt service on 29 March with three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, using a Boeing 787-9.

A daily Boeing 787-9 from Frankfurt to Tokyo Narita starts 28 March. With the existing daily Frankfurt and Munich flights to Tokyo Haneda and other Lufthansa Group carrier services to Japan, the group said it will offer up to 50 weekly connections to four Japanese destinations in summer 2027.

Swiss is adding capacity too, flying up to seven times a week from Zurich to Tokyo Narita.
