Malaysia Airlines resumes Kuala Lumpur–Fukuoka service
Malaysia Airlines has reinstated direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Fukuoka, operating up to five times weekly with Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft.

Malaysia Airlines has restored direct service between Kuala Lumpur and Fukuoka. The route operates up to five times per week using Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. The first flight departed Kuala Lumpur on September 2 and arrived in Fukuoka the following morning. Load factor was 88 percent on the outbound leg and 90 percent on the return. With Fukuoka, the airline now serves three destinations in Japan, offering 26 weekly flights to the country. In addition to Fukuoka, Malaysia Airlines flies to Tokyo Narita and Osaka. Through its partnership with Japan Airlines, connections to several domestic Japanese destinations are available from Fukuoka.
