Thai Airways opens Bangkok claims centre after flood disruption

Thai Airways will open a customer care centre in Bangkok on 16 October 2026 to handle compensation claims from passengers affected by flight disruption during severe flooding in late September.

Thai Airways is opening a customer care centre at its Bangkok headquarters to handle compensation claims from passengers whose flights were disrupted by heavy rain and flooding.

According to the airline, the disruption fell between 26 and 30 September and caused delays, cancellations and hold-ups in baggage handling.

The centre is on the first floor of Building 3 at the carrier's head office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road. It opens on 16 October 2026 from 13:00 to 16:00, then runs daily including weekends from 8:30 to 16:00 starting 17 October.

Passengers can file claims there for flight delays, cancellations and delayed baggage. Thai Airways asks travellers to bring identity documents, booking or boarding pass details and, where relevant, baggage tag numbers and receipts for costs they incurred. Claims can also be submitted online instead of attending in person.
