United unveils Mountain Ascent livery for ski season flying

United has introduced a new aircraft livery called Mountain Ascent, meant to draw attention to the airline's mountain destinations. The design, applied to an Embraer E175, shows sloping green valleys, evergreens and snow-capped mountains.

United said the aircraft will fly into mountain airports during the ski season, though it did not specify which destinations. The airline serves several mountain communities known for winter sports, including Aspen and Vail in Colorado, Jackson in Wyoming, and Bozeman in Montana. It also recently announced winter service between Houston and Durango, Colorado.
