Vietjet will operate part of the charter flights between Russia and Vietnam in the winter 2026/27 season that had been planned by Azur Air. The Russian leisure carrier is cutting its scheduled services to Nha Trang from seven Russian cities.

Tour operator Fun & Sun is turning to Vietjet for those flights instead. Azur Air intends to use the aircraft freed up for additional Phuket services, according to the Aviatorshina channel.

Vietjet also flies to Nha Trang and Phu Quoc for other tour operators.

Separately, the new carrier Sun Phu Quoc Airways plans six weekly flights with Airbus A330 aircraft from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Phu Quoc starting in November. Russia and Vietnam agreed at the end of September to expand permitted traffic to as many as 105 weekly frequencies each.
