Accident Notification
The Brazilian Centro de Investigação e Prevenção de Acidentes Aeronáuticos (CENIPA) has notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Boeing 737-76N that occurred on March 27, 2016.
U.S. Representative Appointment
In response, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist CENIPA's investigation. This appointment is made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, as the United States is the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane.

All investigative information regarding this accident will be released by CENIPA, which is leading the investigation.
