What happened

On October 26, 2019, an IndiGo Air Airbus A320-271N Neo, registration VT-IZT, was operating a flight from Delhi Airport, India, to Goa Airport, India. During the flight, the aircraft experienced an ENG#2 stall warning and high vibration levels, which were followed by a failure of the No. 2 (right) engine. The crew shut down the engine and performed an air turn back to the departure airport. The aircraft landed at Delhi Airport without further incident. There were no injuries resulting from the event.
