What happened
During a mission conducted for the Italian Civil Security (Protezione Civile), a twin engine airplane was operating in the region of Laconi. The aircraft was engaged in firefighting operations when it was flying at a low altitude.
While maneuvering through the area, the aircraft made contact with a rocky face, leading to a crash. There were no survivors from the accident; the incident resulted in four fatalities among the crew members on board.
