What happened
During a scheduled daily mission to deliver supplies to military personnel stationed near Herat, a four-engine aircraft experienced a severe landing incident. Upon reaching the destination, the aircraft performed a heavy landing that resulted in the right main landing gear sinking into the ground and penetrating the wheel bay. Following this impact, the aircraft lost directional control and drifted off the runway to the right side before finally coming to a stop.
