What happened
During a scheduled training mission originating in Pisa and destined for Bologna, an aircraft collided with the terrain near Prato. While performing the flight, the aircraft struck the slope of Mt Javello, situated approximately 10 km north of the Prato area.
There were no passengers on board at the time of the accident. The incident resulted in three fatalities, as all members of the flight crew perished in the impact.
