Incident Overview During a night approach to Guryev Airport, now known as Atyrau, an aircraft deviated below the established glide path. The deviation was attributed to an error by a member of the flying crew. The aircraft impacted the ground at a speed of 210 km/h, approximately 45 meters short of the runway threshold. ## Impact and Damage Following the initial ground contact, the aircraft bounced twice before striking the runway surface in a nose-down attitude. This impact caused the nose gear to experience a positive acceleration force of 3.5 g. The structural damage sustained during the sequence rendered the aircraft beyond repair. ## Casualties Despite the severity of the crash and the total loss of the aircraft, all 43 occupants on board were reported to be unhurt.
