What happened
During an arrival at Cluj-Napoca Airport, an aircraft struck the runway with its nose first. The force of the impact was severe enough to cause the destruction of the cockpit area. Following the collision, the aircraft remained on the runway surface.
While the incident resulted in 3 fatalities among the crew members located in the cockpit, the remaining passengers and occupants were able to be moved away from the wreckage without injury. A total of 52 survivors were successfully evacuated from the plane following the crash.
