What happened
The incident involved a twin-engine aircraft operating as an ambulance flight. The departure point was Parkes, with the destination being Sydney-Mascot Airport. At the time of the accident, the plane was carrying a total of five individuals: one patient, one doctor, and three crew members.
While flying over Glenbrook at a low altitude, the aircraft lost control. It subsequently crashed directly into the intersection of two streets in the downtown area of Glenbrook. The impact resulted in the deaths of all five occupants on board. Fortunately, no individuals on the ground were injured during the crash.
