What happened
During a routine training sortie operating out of Laverton Air Force Base, the flight crew encountered an unforeseen operational issue. In response to this unexpected situation, the pilots initiated an emergency procedure and brought the aircraft down in a field situated approximately one mile north of the airbase perimeter.
Upon impact, the airframe sustained significant structural damage that rendered it damaged beyond repair. Emergency services responded to the scene, where both individuals on board were successfully extracted from the wreckage. No fatalities or injuries were reported among the occupants during this incident.
