What happened
A theft occurred at the Bogotá-El Disardo Airport when an individual, previously employed as an airport mechanic, took control of a parked aircraft. After departing during the night, the individual performed several low-altitude passes over the surrounding area. The flight ended when the aircraft struck multiple residential structures within a densely populated district located close to the airport perimeter.
The impact caused significant damage to both the plane and several nearby homes. The incident resulted in four fatalities, including the pilot, along with three individuals on the ground. Additionally, the crash left seven people injured.
