Flight and Incident
The aircraft departed from Villavicencio-La Vanguardia Airport on a routine flight to La Macarena. The crew initiated a descent to the destination when one of the engines failed. The flight crew declared an emergency and reduced altitude, attempting a forced landing.

During the forced landing, the aircraft struck various obstacles before coming to rest in a ditch. All 29 occupants evacuated the aircraft without injury. The aircraft itself sustained damage beyond repair.
