What happened
Shortly after departing from Guapi-Juan Casiano Solis Airport, a single-engine aircraft experienced a loss of control during its initial climb. Approximately two minutes into the flight, the aircraft descended uncontrollably and impacted the ground. The impact caused the wreckage to ignite, resulting in a post-crash fire.
Among the occupants on board, there were three fatalities and one person who sustained serious injuries.
Findings
Following the accident, it was noted that the aircraft became unstable during the climb phase of the flight, leading to the subsequent crash and subsequent fire.
