What happened
During a local training mission at Chrcynno Aerodrome, a single-engine airplane lost control shortly after departing from a grass runway. The aircraft veered off course and struck a hangar situated in the vicinity of the control tower.
As a result of the impact, one person on the aircraft and five individuals inside the hangar were killed. The remaining two pilots on board sustained injuries during the event.
Findings
At the time of the accident, meteorological conditions were reported as marginal. The area was being impacted by a passing thunderstorm during the flight operations.
