What happened
During the final approach phase at Orléans-Loiret (Saint-Denis-de-l'Hôtel) Airport, the pilot notified air traffic control regarding technical difficulties involving the left engine. The plane subsequently struck several trees and came to rest in a forested region situated approximately 2.8 km before reaching the threshold of runway 05.
