What happened
During a routine local training mission operating out of Nowra Airport, an aircraft was performing its final approach to the runway. Before reaching the runway threshold, the plane impacted the ground, sustaining damage that rendered it a total loss.
Despite the impact and the subsequent destruction of the airframe, there were no casualties reported among those on board. The incident occurred during the landing phase of the flight sequence.
