What happened
During the final approach phase to Puerto Asís Airport, the flight encountered intense precipitation. While navigating through heavy rain, the aircraft struck a body of water located several kilometers before reaching the runway threshold.
The impact resulted in five fatalities, including one crew member and four passengers. Despite the severity of the crash, rescue efforts were successful in saving the remaining 11 occupants on board.
