What happened
During a flight operating between Saravena and Villavicencio, the crew encountered a critical loss of control. In response to the developing situation, an emergency was declared by those on board. The aircraft subsequently impacted a mountain slope within the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy region.
The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airplane. There were 10 fatalities recorded among the occupants, with no survivors reported from the crash site.
Findings
Following the loss of control and subsequent impact with the terrain, the aircraft was completely destroyed.
