Incident Overview and Aircraft Details On December 12, 2022, at 21:35 UTC, an Embraer ERJ 190/100 IGW with registration YV2944 and serial number 19000635 began its takeoff roll from the General Santiago Mariño International Airport (SVMG) in El Yaque, Nueva Esparta. The aircraft, owned by CONVIASA, was carrying 108 people, including five crew members and 103 passengers, along with 5,000 kg of fuel. ## Operational Sequence and Safety Outcome During the final approach to runway 10L at the Simón Bolívar International Airport (SVMI) in Maiquetía, the flight crew received an EICAS message reading “LG LEVER DISAG” after lowering the nose gear. The crew notified the tower of the indication failure, completed the relevant checklist, and executed a new approach. The aircraft landed safely and taxied off the runway under its own power.
