Incident Overview
During the takeoff roll at Kendari-Wolter Monginsidi Airport, as the aircraft reached Vr speed, the cargo door warning light illuminated on the cockpit panel. In response, the captain decided to abort the takeoff and initiated an emergency braking procedure. However, the aircraft was unable to stop within the remaining runway distance.
Overrun and Damage
The aircraft overran the runway, losing its undercarriage in the process, and came to rest approximately 200 meters beyond the runway end. The aircraft sustained damage beyond repair.
Occupants and Evacuation
All 64 occupants on board escaped uninjured. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew.
