An aircraft crashed during a takeoff attempt at Xalapa Airport, resulting in the deaths of all six people on board.

What happened

While attempting to depart from runway 26 at Xalapa Airport, the aircraft failed to rotate during its takeoff roll. The cause of this failure to lift off remains undetermined. Following the unsuccessful rotation, the aircraft impacted a small berm situated at the edge of the concrete runway area.

After striking the berm, the plane continued forward, passing over a line of trees before coming to rest in a nearby field approximately 120 metres from the runway. A significant fire broke out following the impact, which ultimately destroyed the aircraft. There were six fatalities among the occupants of the plane.
