What happened
On July 20, 2020, an incident involving a non-powered hang glider occurred in the vicinity of Dębina, within the Ustka municipality.
The investigation
Upon reviewing the documentation provided by the investigation team, the State Commission on Aircraft Accident Investigation (PKBWL) determined that the aircraft was being operated by an unauthorized individual at the time of the event. Consequently, the Commission decided to refrain from conducting a formal investigation into the incident.
Following this decision, the Commission proceeded to notify the Police and the Civil Aviation Authority (ULC) regarding the occurrence and transferred all gathered materials related to the incident to these authorities.
