What happened
During a mission intended to deliver supplies to the Sudanese Armed Forces, an aircraft was intercepted and destroyed. The plane was reportedly struck by a surface-to-air missile while in flight. Following the impact, the aircraft crashed in a remote, unpopulated region situated in the vicinity of Babanusa.
There were no survivors of the incident. The crash resulted in five fatalities among the crew members on board.
