What happened
During a support mission operating within Sudan, an aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent, leading to a crash in a desert territory situated in the Nyala region. Following the impact, the aircraft caught fire, and the resulting post-crash flames completely destroyed the airframe. There were no survivors of the accident, as all seven crew members perished in the event.
Findings
Local Sudanese authorities have indicated that the crash may have been the result of the aircraft being shot down by RSF rebels. The investigation into the exact circumstances of the descent remains ongoing.
